Nightlife
Phuket has plenty of nightlife and entertainment to offer, ranking from nice quiet restaurants, music pubs, cabaret’s to pulsating discos and dance clubs. Patong is the heart of Phuket nightlife. The beer bars and a-go-gos are a significant part of Phuket’s nightlife. Everybody is welcome at these bars, even if they are only sightseeing.
The nightlife scene is more laid back at Karon, Kata and Rawai but have a good selection of restaurants and bars with life bands and smaller discos.
In Karon, the nightlife is at the north end and south end of the beach. In Kata, it is around Kata Yai Beach.
In Rawai nightlife can be found at the area along the beach road and the main road. Best choice to meet expats is Freedom Bar offering pool, big screen to watch sport and a live band on weekends.
Laguna Green Bars and entertainment center is a good spot to hang out having some Kebab, drinks and good music and to await the time Laguna disco or Icon disco opens (2-6am). Lovely girls awaiting you mixing you a delicious cocktail. Other good entertainment bars are Asia Bar, Good Time Bar, Cheers Bar and more.
